this is bad really bad, are we all just sold off to the benefits of those few in key ownership possession of the economy forming companies ? The solution is so damn simple, increase taxes on the imported good, and production of those items at home will once again become profitable. Other countries follow the suit and increase taxes on our goods , so what we export only 15% of the total output, mainly high tech , so we loose a bit, since for the buyer there s not much alternatives worldwide for these items , BUT what more importantly we will have all industries returned back home where average Joe used to be working prior it was sold for an increased profit by someone here home to elsewhere. we get the job we keep the job we will buy off the excess that would not been sold to foreign buyer. so the formula here is 90/10 ... we increase taxes on import we will win on 90% of economic fronts here, we don't ,we might only then win on 10% of economic composite .... so whee is the logic or the interest

The states need to cut spending on any federal program they have been forced to fund at the state level with no funding from Washington. Then cut all spending that is not covered or allowed by their constitutions or forming documents.

Hopefully the states with high income and corporate taxes will see the mass exit of business and people to other states and wake up.

The EPA and its unconstitutional authority must be but in check, or the economy is doomed regardless.

Private sector jobs and business must grow at a rate far in excess of government jobs, all levels of government, or the system will crash. California shows us that big government and forever growing program spending come to an end given time and situation. Statutory compassion in government and its programs will lead to total collapse of all programs.

How many states are looking for ways to get out of the private sectors way as a solution? Reducing taxes, streamlining approvals for new facilities, eliminating/reducing fees and taxes, reducing number of government departments or similar reductions in size and waste at every level of government.

I would rather lay off administrators and politicians then police and emergency services. Lay off support staffs rather then maintenance and repair services. The governments of this country need to return to a more lean and smaller status now and in future prosperous times as well. Growing regardless of situation is not possible, took near collapse to show some the wrongs that must be corrected.
