Hee-hee! People do do good every now and then.

Let us not dwell on the actions/mentality of the Westboro crew, both of which speak for themselves.

To all sane humans, that is.

If I lived in NYC I would have gone down and donated some money to them.

I wonder what these people actualy do where the can spend untold amounts of money going all around the country with their hatred, intolerance and bigotry.

One would think denouncing Westboro would be a uniting factor, regardless of one's opinions on homosexuality. To disrupt the funerals of our precious lost servicepeople is beyond reprehensible and borders on evil. Yet Wolfie2007, Philman2009 and BoaMake gleefully make their cruelty and inhumanity known. By endorsing their actions, they may as well be members (and perhaps they are). Only hatred guides them, to the exclusion of all else.

I hope for their enlightenment, as that is all I can do.

Others have taken this tack. $2000 was raised for LGBT groups as a result of Westboro protesting in DC.

This is the way to go. I'm waiting for a Phelps visit to Denver.

I thought this Phelps guy was arrested for burning down his own church in Kansas for the insurance, and was sued for millions by the father of one of the dead soldiers whose funeral Phelps protested. Where does this psychohick get money to travel?

Fred Phelps and his ilk get their kicks off of protesting at gay-themed events and soldiers' funerals. Their little clan makes no sense to me. Imagine how horrible it would be if one of their own turned out to be gay, or wanted to leave their hate-inspired group. Phelps is an evil little tyrant. Kudos to all of you for standing up for what is right!

Personally I think they abuse their children with all their hatred, at the very least they are doing them a grave disservice.I can't even imagine how it is to live with so much hatred.
