Hate to say I am agreeing with you because nothing in this article mentioned Obama as the problem. Admehnijad screwed it up and he is looking for a third party to blame and Obama is smart enough to stay out of the game. The best thing we can do is let them sort it out and not step in to the dispute. They want nothing better than to blame us for the problem and so far we are not buying in.

Obviously you have never heard of ju-jisu, judo, or Sun Tse's art of war. Sometimes it is better to let an opponent get over confident and over extend. W would always fall for it. Bin Ladin tricked W like a bull and a matador and W got played because he got mad. Now Iran needs a bull to over react but Obama is waiting for Adminijad to make the first dumb move and then counter. Being a firm but very intelligent leader who can trick his opponent to make a mistake and take advantage of it pays off.

True, kindness to the "wicked" is a sign of weakness. Only time a wicked person uses kindness is as a strategy. I don't trust Taliban, Alqeada, nor Ahmadinejad. I get very uneasy with U.S. entering into agreements with them. Can they forgive and forget the reasons why they are at war with America, America's interests?

I'm reminded of a story of a lady who felt sorry for a nearly dead, frozen snake she saw in the snow. She took it into her home and nursed it back to health. It bite her. She asked, "Why did you do this after I took you in and nursed you back to life?". The snake replied, "You knew I was a snake when you took me in.".

Hey idiot, it wasn't the Republicans who got us into this mess; it was the entire US Congress, since their appropriations power resides clearly in Article I of the US Constitution.

Moreover you liberal jerk-off, if Clinton (your guy) had addressed the middle east during his sorry-ass term, we might have been in a better position today.
As for the current President, aka Buckwheat, he hasn't a clue how to handle any of our international issues. Even the really left liberals are realizing that Osama Obama is the wrong guy for this nation. -

What do you think we are ramping up for? No need to propagandize Americans so heavily, unless perhaps we are being sold ANOTHER war.
It is the traditional solution for a failing economy, you know.

To the "leaders" of Iran this is bigger than Bush, Obama or any other president for that matter. Sadly, as is, in many nations of this world, the governments are not a true "representation" of the people that they govern. The issue the Iranian gov't has towards the west i simple ideology, and unless the west is willing to convert to and agree with the iranian gov'ts version of what the world should be then they will always find these little things to puff their chests out at. The problem is that they see the foundation crumbling around them, and they are trying to divert the attention back to the americans, and the british while they attempt to shore up the foundations without anyone knowing. The thing is they dont have the population behind them as they did thirty years ago. Iranian society has changed drastically. And guess who the Iranian gov't is blaming for this, THE BIG BAD WEST. the only way that a U.S. Iran diplomatic relaionship will flower, is if the people of Iran overthrow the gov't and set up a pro-western gov't, which as we have seen before isn't a guaranteed outcome. But until this happens, we can cancel any hopes of improving relations with Iran, because there will always be some small insignificant issue that they will exaggerate in order keep themselves in power and preserving the theocracy in a nation that has become more secular than it would like to admit

Television coverage of Iran's turmoil has fallen since Jackson's death Thursday; on the Twitter micro-blogging site, Iran remained among the most discussed topics, but fell below Jackson and comments about the movie "Transformers 2."

YOU DO NOT NUKE NATIONS JUST FOR "talking stupid" YOU DO NOT NUKE NATIONS JUST FOR "acting stupid" IT'S ALLAH NOT ALLA. LASTLY, the US doesn't just go around nuking people. Intelligent people with a brain in their heads solve their problems by working things out and compromise and skill rather than just blowing a place off the face of the earth.
DO you have a SOUL? I cannot even imagine the hate it requires to wish that an entire country be nuked off the map. I cannot fathom that kind of mindlessness.
Lastly, you may not agree with Iran, but they're not a stupid ass nation, learn some respect. Rule 1 of war, RESPECT YOUR ENEMY. Whether they respect you or not, you respect them. That sort of honorable fighting has been lost in the fires, and it makes me ashamed.
There's so much else I'd like to say but it's 4:36 am, I'm VERY tired and I'd rather not struggle for what I'm trying to say right now.

Western media just make people to believe that street protest will bring changes. Just because a million or two come to the street to protest won't change anything at all, we have seen all around the world when America invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, it has changed nothing. The occupation and oppression still continue in this countries. Afghanistan election is going to be held under the military occupation and the Western world wants the Muslim to believe this elections are going to be free and fair and it is Democratic. Considering this Iranian election is 100 times better than these kind of elections. Even if Iran conducts another election and if Ahamed Nijard wins again it will not be accepted because the Israel is obsessed with destroying Iran because it is paranoid. Iranian election was free and fair until proven otherwise. It is the opposition and the Zionist media that are misleading the Iranian opposition voters. If Ahmaed Nijard wants to bring a street protest against opposition he could do it as well but the Right Wing media will not highlight it as they did it for the opposition. The Iranians should look at the elections in Iraq and Afghanistan where elections are held under the barrel of the gun and they say it is free and fair. The Iranian voters also take note of election that took place in Palestine that brought Hamas to power but what happened, did the West help Hamas? They won't because Hamas doesn't play ball with them. So entire election process to elect a representative is a big fraud. What happened to the election in Algeria that Islamic party won? America doesn't support Democratic elections but supports its own economic and political interest around the world. If you are a puppet of America, you can even be a dictator. Who cares who wins?

We must remember that Ahmadumbnut does not speak for the Iranian people. He is only a puppet, owned and operated by Ayatollah Khamenei, who is the supreme religious leader and the final authority in Iran.
Reply
We should continue to support the Iranian people, who have mixed feelings about the U.S., like most citizens of foreign countries, but would definitely like to have a free country.
Their outlook on nuclear weapons is that they should not be told by outsiders what they can have and not have. This is the issue that must be addressed if we are to keep Iran from becoming a nuclear power.-

You are right in a way but the fact is Ayatullah is an Iranian respected and revered by the Shias and Ahmad Nijard is the president who has to take orders from him. I don't think there is anything wrong in that. I don't think Democracy has a place in Iran, I mean the American or the Western style Democracy. Islam is better Democracy and it is a corruption free Democracy in which the sovereignty belong to God but the Western Democracy the sovereignty belongs to people, this is where corruption stems from.

You're not a real American, you're a coward. You proved it to yourself, you broke your own diction just to repeatedly use the phrase "coward." It appears in your post five times. I think you're projecting.
Reply
You still believe he has a "Kenyan upbringing," that you believe that lie proves to me that you are scared of the truth. You think he hates Democracy, I think it is YOU who hates Democracy. You can't stand that Obama is bringing justice back to America. You think he wants to destroy America. All I have to say to you is that if he wants to destroy the America Bush and his merry band of fools created, I hope he brings it to it's knees and rebuilds it from the ground up, like it was on January 19th, 2000. A budget surplus, no war, low unemployment, with some changes. Let's keep the civil rights we've gained since then, let's abolish the Patriot Act, because it's not how a Patriot would Act, and let's keep our Congressional/Presidential set-up.
Liberals are a hell more brave than you "FAUX" AMERICAN" liberals, moderates, independents and non-insane republicans send our sons and our daughters to die in wars we don't believe in while pricks like you shoot your feet to stay home so you don't have to fight. You get to pretend like you're brave from the sidelines without getting your hands dirty. You disgust me. Your prick Toby Keith sings a bunch of twangy songs about brave soldiers dying for America, those are our men. You latch on to their bravery like a bravery-sucking parasite, you sicken decent Americans. I don't support Iraq, I supported Afghanistan, I supported tracking down and slaughtering bin Laden. While I believe he had severe ideological differences to us and only did what he felt was right which you arguably can't hate, you can hate him for the actions he committed. Although technically as "Christians" you aren't supposed to hate ANYBODY. You have no right to talk about bravery when you yourself have NONE. Who are you to criticize Obama when you yourself are hiding in your home, running away. "My fellow Americans" you act like we're your comrades, your buddies, your friends. You act like you speak with some authority or as a voice of reason, as if we should listen to you. Tell me why we should? Obama is seven times the man you could ever HOPE to be. Those liberals, moderates and independents you smear so freely are five times the man you could ever hope to be. You are not a "Real American", you're pathetic, you're a fool, you're fooling yourself, and above all else, you're the coward!
Now count it, in a post five times longer than yours, I still only managed to use that word three times. -

Last week, Ahmadinejad turned from being an Islamic revolutionary to being the front-man for a power-entrenched, hard-line regime. He seems like a ridiculous puppet, now, with his "pronouncements", and the positions he expressed in his previous letters to the US President have lost their legitimacy and become unbelievable. Iran needs leaders now, not sycophants.

Why do republicans hate America so much? How did they get so ignorant? The Iranian people have struggled against the "RELIGIOUS RIGHT WING " in their nation for decades. Liberals like me who don't watch fox have known this for as long. This didn't just start up a few months ago. Watch carefully because this is what happens when the far right takes power. I'm surprised you republicans aren't rooting for Amadinajad. He is exactly what Reagan and Bush are. Power hungry evil bastards. But to the republicans credit we liberals just sat still when bush stole two elections. Remember when Tom Delay and his buddies stopped the re-count in Florida? And when the state court ruled our votes should be counted Bush went to the right wing supreme COURT and STOPPED THE COUNT. DE ja vu indeed. some people are just to stupid to live in a democracy and others too meek. god bless Iran's resistance to the right wing.
