PSB, i would have felt the same way, it's really between him and his wife, HAD the republicans shown the Clintons the same respect. NOW they want that respect shown to the pervs in their party, but still harp on Clinton, Kennedy, Sptizer and anyone else they can come up with.. I've had enough of the expected double standards the cons demand for the freaks in their party.

The difference is that he abandoned his post. There can be no acceptable excuse for that action. Think about it? If you remove the affair completely from the equation and only look at the inexcusable leave of absence, he must resign.

But of course he starts throwing out Bible quotes and making his own decisions. If you have never lived in this region you could not understand the hypocrisy. His base (the good ole boy network) will support this man. They called for Clinton's head. Because Sanford quotes the Bible he is "a good man" who made a mistake. But of course it wasn't just one mistake...it was more like a hundred. And of course we are now the laughingstock of the nation. They will blame this fact on everyone but the real villain here. They will blame Obama (LOL!), the MSM, and every Democrat breathing. Instead of focusing on the man who caused the entire situation - Mark Sanford!-

Yeah, the Bible quotes, tears and apologies are exactly what these nuts want and he's smart enough to know it, so he gives them what they want, therefore, he can keep what he wants, and will more than likely continue with his affair with his tramp! lol..
