Not even going to neg that. Of course this is true but I hope I have lived a more truth filled existance than the Catholic Church! Some truly atrocious men have ruled over this church. Some truly devilish deeds done. I would wager 1 Million Dollars against the Vatican Coffers that there are no bones belonging to any Peter, who was ever once a resident of the Levant, buried beneath the Basilica. Like everything else this is just a leap of faith.

"I have lived a more truth filled existance than the Catholic Church!"

Then maybe you should start with the truth of the understanding that the Catholic Church is not a monolithic entity and that the people who make up the Church are as varied a people as any other aspect of society.

"Some truly atrocious men have ruled over this church. Some truly devilish deeds done."

True enough. But the same can be said of any government, religious organization or group.

"I would wager 1 Million Dollars against the Vatican Coffers that there are no bones belonging to any Peter, who was ever once a resident of the Levant, buried beneath the Basilica"

Maybe, maybe not. Do you have any proof to the contrary? Have you actually been beneath the Basilica? Rome, even? Israel? Anywhere?

Or is this simply your typical emotionally charged rant against the Catholic Church based on nothing but rant?

You're no more (or less) credible than the Catholic Church you're ranting about.
