I just read Testimony by Anita Shreve, one of my favorite authors, and if any novel is going to show teens the dangers of drinking, this is it.

    Two weeks ago one of my sons friends father died because of alcohol..He decided that drinking all day was better than being a responsible parent...His son called him at the bar he was at and asked him to come home.The last words his fatrher spoke to him was "no..i'm partying "...At 2:00 AM he headed up the interstate the wrong way,ran head on into an oncoming car and died. Alcohol wins again !!! Another family destroyed !!
