    From The Article"

"They did a good job getting rid of that tyrant, Saddam, and we thank them for that, but it's really time for them to leave," said Talib Rasheed, 70, sitting outside in one of Baghdad's leafier suburbs. "Maybe they could leave us some electricity?"

I wish the Iraqi people lots of luck pulling their country together. I hope it was worth it for all concerned.

Your not sure it was worth it? why Candida whatever do you mean?
Do you mean that it was not worth getting rid of sadam or his insane sons?
Do you mean it was not worth allowing the Iraqi people the benefit of self determination?

Do you mean that YOUR pretty sure that it was not worth it because you are against America pursuing it's own national interest?

tell you what i'm sure of,i'm sure glad that you were not at the helm when the decision to liberate millions and topple a despot needed to be made.

I am also sure that the Iraqi people who suffered at the hands of sadam feel the same way.

"the price was far too high on both sides."

    What price is that exactly?

I think this is great. NO more having those heroes of America as targets for the ungrateful. They can now sit back and watch Muhammadans sending each other to what sounds like, a slothful brothel in the sky.

It's unfortunate but if and when the American troops pull out altogether, the Iraqis will most probably become another pawn of the Iranians. Without a strong government in place, Iraq will never be able to rule itself. Forget about democracy. It doesn't work in Muslim countries, at least not democracy modeled on the American or British style. Because of culture, religion and historical differences, only Oligarchies and dictatorships work in the Muslim world. This isn't meant to be a derogatory remark about Islam, but historically and today, almost all 55 Muslim countries are either dictatorships or some form of tightly controlled "democracy". We will be lucky if Iraq doesn't descend into the same pit as Lebanon did with a civil war between the Shiites, Sunni and Kurds in Iraq. Afghanistan will fare no better after America pulls out completely. The Palestinians will fare no better with all of the militant groups vying for power. As I said, this isn't meant to be derogatory toward any group, it's just a realistic assessment of what seems to be a consistent pattern in the Muslim world. And most of you are smart enough to realize that I'm being completely realistic even if you don't want to admit it.
