Steve Jobs, Apple Inc.’s chief executive officer, got a liver transplant quickly because of a U.S. system that favors patients with the means to rush to geographic areas where there is less competition for organs.

    If you have the money and the means, health care is great in America. But don't be poor or middle class, because you won't be able to afford the life saving care that the rich take for granted.

      isn't competition the private system great? no waiting lists.. unless you are in a region with a waiting list and can't afford to fly. no rationing.. unless the liver you would have gotten goes to a rich guy who flew into your area and paid to get his score put above yours.

      everything is great if you have money. And if you don't, well that's your fault for being poor.

      yeah capitalism!
