Yes. Because polls where a majority of white people are voting and where the majority of people voting are fairly well off are incredibly accurate, especially around civil rights issues.

  Did I miss something? Where does it say that the poll was composed of mainly white people that are well off? Have anything else to discredit the results, other than something you extrapolated out of thin air?

    How is it not fair? The fireman in this case paid for schooling, studied his ass off and aced the test and then was denied a job because he is white.
    
    That is racism pure and simple. Allowing different races preferential treatment because of the color of their skin is exactly what we are trying to stop right? But when it applied to white people then they can be denied a job because the color of their skin?
    
    There is no such thing as reverse racism. There is just pure racism and the courts finally shot it down.
