I can't imagine how you can paint Franken as a loser. he has been a successful author and comedian and talk show host. He has far more accolades than Coleman. I would venture to say that his humanity far exceeds that of simonsez, Comode#2 and not2fun combined. You guys won't be happy until all the country has elected officials that are vapid brain dead morally bankrupt crooks.

Hi, I'm a long time Minnesotan (over 35 years). I didn't support Franken at the caucus level. Personally I thought Jack Nelson-Palmyer would have been a better choice. That said, look at the candidate the republicans are supporting. Coleman failed his bid to become the endorsed DFL candidate for the Senate, changed all his core beliefs overnight and suddenly decided he was a republican. The man is a clear opportunist. I wouldn't support him for any political office.

Franked isn't perfect, but damn, look at some of the people republicans are electing.
