Limbaugh Claims the Senate Election in Minnesota was Stolen Like in Iran »
Posted By capj71 4 months, 1 week ago in Political NewsRush Limbaugh reacted to the news the news that Al Franken has been certified the winner of the Minnesota Senate race by the state Supreme Court by comparing the Minnesota recount to the recount in the Iranian presidential election. He claims this election was stolen from Coleman. I believe that Limbaugh loves the GOP more than he loves America.

Listen to the liberals ignore what happened. They have ranted for years that Gore really won the election even though he lost the count and all recounts including all but one count after the official counts were over. But they still talk about the stolen election.
Reply
In Minnesota Coleman won the election and the recount. Then the next recount it was obvious that dirty tricks were being done. Votes found in trunks of cars. More votes than were people voting in the Franken districts. Coleman absentee votes not allowed to be counted but the Franken votes were counted and the liberals just ignore all of this hanky panky. The facts speak for themselves. Voting fraud is only if a Republican wins according to liberals.-

More looser revisionism? Yes of course it is. Par for the course!
Franken won the original recount, and has continued to win recounts as Norm Coleman, likely at the request of the national GOP, has continued to drag this process out. Franken will be the 60th Democratic senator, so the GOP has tried to block seating him for as long as possible. -

Endo, do you believe everything you read in the Right Wing media or are you just copying from the tabloids? Those are just scurrilous allegations. Get real. There was 11 million dollars spent recounting the votes mainly because Coleman wouldn't quit. Just ridiculous. The courts rule we as Americans need to learn to accept those rulings.. I never bitched about Bush over Gore. It was simply a very close election. How can you say the will of the people has been subverted when we are talking about a couple of hundred votes?

I don't even particularly like Al Franken. He is the Far Left. But how long would you like to leave the seat open?

I am concerned how so many "lost" ballots were suddenly accepted. Even those with the wrong dates stamped on the top by their bonded time/date stamp. It's a sad day when the DNC is once again accused of voter fraud but there is no real investigation. No changes in voting standards. We protect our waste dumps more than we protect our voting booths. Only in America. When the elections are anything but fair or balanced. Just another day in Obama's Amerika.

The only result that would EVER be valid in your mind is a Coleman win, even if you examined each ballot personally.
Reply
The election board was bi-partisan, as was the state supreme court, and over the past EIGHT MONTHS both sides have been able to examine the disputed ballots. -

BOTH sides have been accused of voter fraud at one time or another. But, in point of fact, voter fraud is extremely hard to get away with and thus, exceedingly rare.
What is far easier is efforts to disenfranchise or otherwise voters from turning out in the first place through practices like caging lists and disinformation campaigns. Here the Republicans rule the roost.

It's the perfect crime, really. No chance of accusations of actual ballot-box stuffing and hey, just because these minorities voted Democrat last election is no guarantee they would have voted that way again. -

--Wow...So basically you haven't bothered to actually *read* any of the humongous body of court documents associated with this case either--but you're still convinced you know better than all the judges who ruled in Franken's favor? Amazing.

Rush is absolutely right. The Democrats created enough voted after the election to steal it, and I expect much more of this behavior now that it's been encouraged. Don't think for a moment that Obama and the Democrats are not watching places like Honduras, Venezuela, and Iran. They're wondering how they, like the leaders of those countries, can stay in power without all this ridiculous election foolishness.

There are movements in the DNC to rescind the Twenty-second Amendment because of the messiah. Sounds like Obama has been talking with his new friends, Castro and Chavez. I'd like to the the 22nd Amendment changed to include US Senators and Representatives. I'd also like to see them pay for their own benefits and reduce them to part time status. That's about all the last 2 congresses have been good for anyway. Part-time, no pensions or health benefits, it's a good start at reducing government overhead.

Here's the difference between Rush and Franken. Rush will just sit in front of his microphone and spew about how everyone in government is just doing everything wrong. Franken has actually gotten off his butt and ran for office and got elected. He's putting his money where his mouth is and becoming part of the process. We will see how well he does, and even if he fails, at least he has done something other than spew.
