A Twitter King that is.
Maine gubernatorial candidate Alex Hammer has broken ahead of the pack on Twitter. Hammer outranks all other challengers in followers and tweets. "Hammer is clearly the King of Twitter" said the Augusta Insider on June 19th. As of the 26th Hammer was following 805 tweets, had 357 followers, and had 543 tweets of his own. Candidate Matt Jacobson was the closest competitor with 91 followers and 16 tweets posted. If netroots campaigning is the future, Alex Hammer is certainly an early trendsetter here in Maine.
