The policy known as DADT is a horribly enacted piece of legislation. It should have been ruled as unconstitutional. However, the leader of the far right-wing SCOTUS, better known as Chief Dork John Roberts, could not bring himself to accepting that gays and lesbians are relegated to second class status. Thus, we need to hope that President Obama can bring forth fruitful change. It will not come in time for officers like Lt. Dan Choi, but perhaps the tide will change soon.
