ABW speaks alot of truth behind the vitriol. The post above he is just referring to the cannibalism going on amongst Republicans. Either you are in complete denial or you must agree this is happening. It's just rough reading for those on the opposite side of the fence. Cracking down on Freedom of Speech today are we Slate?
I would like to put a gag on Limbaugh (and countless posters on these boards) as well but this is America. People are entitled to speak freely within specific boundaries (you can't yell fire in a crowded theatre). Propeller can pick and choose their own boundaries. But I don't see ABW overstepping those boundaries as currently defined. Crude but effective. Certainly no worse than the months/years Doc J/ Commodore spent using the term "Nazi liberals".

I don't think any of us fear her at all. I find her to be a rather humorous side note to a collapsing political right wing. The cons on propeller complain about President Obama on many levels but can you imagine what we'd have now if a senile old has been and a vapid nincompoop occupied the White House?

this isn't really about Sara. This is about the "government is the answer government is the problem" faction of the republican party. George W. was there foil to dumb down the party so they could show the voters that government "doesn't work" and they did a great job and then came New Orleans and the public saw what was happening. Sara was an extension of W. Another foil. This is the dying gasps of the neocons.

Fortunately it was about the political family.
In 2008 we outsiders sat in the nation's living room watching the election on tv,
- while from the RNC kitchen came the sounds of plates shattering, people yelling, doors slamming.
Sarah and John McCain kept coming out with their faces twisted into smiles and asking the nation
if we wanted more chips or a photo opp?
Then they would go back into the kitchen and
we would here awful sounds.
Once the door swung open and we saw Kristol trying to
push Wallace's head into the blender.
Sarah was great. She laughed and said 'Boys!' and
shut the door fast with her foot.
I just ate chips and kept my mouth shut.-

- or at least the party insiders and outsiders.
Palin was an outsider.
It is impressive how she came to be a hero to the base that Bush and Rove wanted to keep.
It is unimpressive that she did not get the party machinery to unite for her.
For that reason alone the GOP would be wise too keep her off stage.
Not, of course, that I don't already have a Palin/Backmann 2012
