Right Wing Talk Radio Blows a Gasket over Al Frankens Win »
Posted By capj71 4 months, 4 weeks ago in Political NewsRight wing talk radio led by Rush Limbaugh has spent the day freaking out over Al Franken’s victory in the Minnesota U.S. Senate Race. Limbaugh called Franken, “a genuine lunatic.” Fox News Radio’s Brian and the Judge referred to Franken as,”hateful, maniacal, angry, and evil.” While Jim Quinn claimed that ACORN stole the election for Franken.

You have to understand ... the Modern Right has a real problem with Democracy. It REALLY p i s s e s them off when ALL Americans don't agree with them. Just look how enraged people like libsRfunny and other Right Wing Leaning Propeller members become when their opinions are countered ... out come the hate filled insults.
Reply
Of course, as they continue to become ever more Morally Vacant ... and continue towards an Ideology that is Unsustainable and Counter-Productive - their outrage will continue to grow ... possibly to dangerous proportions.
That said ... I DO hope the Right reforms themselves ... kicks out their goofy, blow-hard spokespeople like Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Michael Savage ... and others.
Our nation NEEDS a healthy Republican party. While I support Barack Obama's efforts to bring some sorely missed 'Values' to our Federal Government ... having one party in charge of everything is not the ideal.
But, as a nation, what choice do we have but to reject the stridently self righteous ... and hypocritical Republican Party ... in it's present form?
The Modern Republican Party ... with it's current infestation of Neo-Conservative Philosophers ... is contrary to the traditional values our nation was founded upon.

It is what he was and is now all of a sudden he is a Senator. More ballots counted in Franken districts only on the last recount. Also ballots came out of trunks of cars and showed up from no where. This caused there to be more ballots than voters in several districts. Coleman district absentee ballots not counted while Franken ones were counted. And listen to the liberals shout with glee. They believe fraud is OK if it is for a liberal.

Gee......I wonder if the 3000 dead people who voted had anything to do with it........

A review of Minnesota’s statewide database of registered voters revealed at least 2,812 deceased individuals voted in last November’s general election, according to a new report by the “traditional values” advocacy group Minnesota Majority.
After obtaining the list of voters who participated in November’s election, the group hired an independent firm who specializes in “death suppression” for direct mailing lists to review the data. The process, which involved matching names and addresses to state death records, bore troubling results.
According to Minnesota statute 201.13, the commissioner of health is to report monthly the name, address, date of birth, and county of residence of voting-age deceased residents to the secretary of state.

Hmmm, nowhere does it say if the people died before the election (I wouldn't put it past a partisan site like that to include such) or give any indication who they voted for. Nor do they document the supposed connection between Mark Ritche and Acorn.

I really don't trust partisan blogs to accurately report the truth anyway. You'll have to do better than that, pc. -

Unfortunately and typical, your data is meaningless. If the data is 100% true, which is certainly conjecture at this point, there are issues that you do not know about this data.

Did each ballot actually contain a vote for senator?
What are the senatorial results for these specific ballots?
Were the voters alive when the vote was cast?
Before you start making accusations, I think you need to have 100% confidence in the information you are basing your *tool* comment upon. If you can provide those details from the blog-o-sphere that you seem to dwell in, then that would go a long way to justify the *tool* remark.
If not, please look in the mirror. What *tool* do you see?

Just goes to show you how the Republicans keep suppressing votes that aren't for them. Actually, after the first recount, Franken had the most votes and Coleman and the republicans were the sore losers. If the republicans didn't screw up so badly, this would not have happened.

So to try and explain to people that are apathetic is a waste

have been numbed by too many cold winters and they believe anything, so I'm hear to tell them not to worry Al Gore has taken care of your cold winters, he will move up there and all

Just goes to show you how bad Coleman was I guess. If he had been a senator for the people he might still be there but he vote for the Republican spending spree so the people wanted him out at any cost.

One thing you people forget is that comedians are really very intelligent and see politics as it really is. Those like Bob Hope, Johny Carson, Will Rogers, Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, to name a few, were/are very aware of what goes on in politics. It's just that Al Franken wanted to do something about it in a personal way by getting personally involved. Good for him.

My Fellow Americans: I understand Obama is looking for some more impartial Senators so I have compiled a bipartisan list for him to select from. I hope it doesn't offend the ones that are presently on his Payroll. Jovial-New York (knows his news buddies), NoWayMan-Illinois,(The Chicago Gang Candidate), Jakesgille-Lue-wezzy-anna, (he fits right in to the New Orleans Porch People), Goppy-California, (You guessed it fits right in to the San Francisco Crowd), Scott4261-Minnesota, (He and Franken make quite a pair), Fifty-Nine-Hawaii, (As Obama would say for the Fifty Ninth State), Progressive-Mississippi, (Sorry but not so Progressive), BlueTexasValley-Texas, (Texas Want to be), Mesodude-Florida, (Right their with the Aligators), Crmtyphon-Vermont, (Kind of a Green Mountain Boy), Juvel-Kansas, (Home for a true Criminal), BatFishy-Wyoming, (Go Figure no Water), AceofSpades-Nevada, (Card Man), Hefaa1-Ohio, (Who knows Why), Well, I think that will help out the Country a great deal. Anybody got some better suggestions that will help Obama destroy this Country. Have a Nice Day. The Real American

First off, that's Jakesguile.... I don't get the Lue Wezzy Anna comment, it has nothing to do with what my name means. Second, I'm not from New Orleans and I'm not Black, if that's what you were implying by the racial epithet "Porch People" (which btw, I'll be reporting your post to the ToS for the implied racism). I'm a gay boy from California, and I'm not afraid of you.

But I have to thank you for including me in the list of people who could save this country, although I regret to inform you that I won't even be turning 21 until the same day as Robert Byrd so I have awhile before I can run for any position officially. And once again I have to remind you that you are not, in fact, a Real American. Real Americans have the capacity to show Empathy, Justice, Courage, Civility, Loyalty, Humility, and many many other Tactful (Tact itself, included) traits. You lack ALL of these things. I'd say you have "Loyalty" through your Party Loyalty but you see... Loyalty also means understanding when the people you're loyal to are wrong and standing up to them while remaining at their side in the Psychological sense. -

Everyone in your selection would be a far cry better for America than the (pseudo)-Real Americans. I'm jealous for not making another dimwits list, again. Crap. I guess I just don't post enough. -

Rush Limbaugh is a shining beacon (bacon?) of hope to racist mal-educated rethug terrorist cells the world over. Mullah Limpballs issues his daily fatwahs on behalf of his grand Ahatolla Billionaire Media mogul evangelical bosses every day, knowing the inbred trailer trash thugs are scheming away while humping their sisters and polishing their squirel guns and one remaining tooth.

Those of you going to a July 4 Tea Party, please try to promote a march on DC. The tea parties are great, but the numbers are scattered and therefore the impact is not as great as would be a million or more marching on DC. If I know how to reach large groups, I would do so, but I am asking you to promote this at your own tea party and let's get something going. Has to be scheduled when Congress/Obama are there and preferably before school starts. Thank you so much
