Rasmussen’s new poll, taken before the release of June’s unemployment numbers, shows significant slippage for Barack Obama on the economy, his central issue. Only 42% of American voters give him excellent or good marks on handling the economy, the lowest ratings he has yet received. His personal approval rate has fallen to 53%, and the “passion index” has dropped to -2:

The demographics of his decline portend more bad news for Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress. Only the youngest voters support him on fiscal policy, and only barely, 52%-46%. Every other age demographic above 30 years of age has majorities now showing disapproval. Independents have begun to run away in massive numbers; they now oppose him 75%-23%, a huge break away from Obama and a sign that his supposed moderate stances have been exposed as shams. Every income level except the lowest also has majorities disapproving of his handling of the economy. Voters outside the “political class” oppose Obama 65%-33%.-

As my story reported the other day. Obama, they want you to fail! Look at the screams of delight coming from conservatives like you as our country flounders. It's like watching our countries arch enemies cheerleading at our demise. If there was ever a time that I felt that moving the lot of you that feel this way to Texas and allowing you to have your own country, now would be that time.

Despite losing almost a half-million jobs in June, the economy is showing signs of recovery, the White House said Thursday
"There's a sense that beginnings of stabilization are taking hold, and hopefully the worst job loss is behind us," Gibbs said, adding the president was "deeply disappointed by the continued job loss" as the national unemployment rate moved up to 9.5 percent.
Gibbs said he "absolutely" believes that number is "definitely headed to 10 percent."
Obama noted that June's job losses were not as bad as those in recent months, and he said he is seeing some positive signs the economy is starting to recover.
Under intense fire from Republicans who have questioned from the beginning whether the stimulus plan would work, Gibbs said flatly Thursday that "the stimulus plan is working."

What I find absolutely bizarre about 0Bama's economic 'plan', or stimulus plans or whatever they are called, is that he and his sycophants seems to think that you can spend 'borrowed money',ie create a debt, to get out of debt into an economy that runs on credit and loans which is a debt.

This is analogous to people who borrow money from one credit card to pay on the debt of another credit card or loan.
As for the stimulus plan working, it would seem that is either wishful thinking from DC or the much anticipated and advertised 'economic turn around' will be a very 'long time in coming' if at all.-

Reagan made decisions that helped the economy recover. Obama has yet to do anything positive. Instead, he heaps on more debt, a type of debt which does not grow the economy in any way.

If we saw him making sound decisions, we would give him more time. Cap and trade is an anchor ... universal healthcare at this point in time is an anchor ... road and bridge construction doesn't help because we are no longer a country of day laborers as we were in the thirties.
It doesn't create the kinds of jobs we need in this day and age. -

No surprise.... OBEMA is becoming a First Class Flip/Flop artist.. He actually said this week, Cal., is an excellent example of how the recovery is going, stating, Cal., has a growing economy, creating jobs, and a Good Model for all..
Really, OBAMA is either lying, or Ignorant of the fact that Cal., is actually giving out IOU's they are out of MONEY...

When his fall happens, and it will, it will be dramatic. We should hope it only involves him and not has too much of an effect on the country. This isn't a matter of giving him time to get his act together. There is no time. Positive things have to happen sooner rather than later. I'm sure most people are thinking the same thing I'm thinking. When is this "stimulus" going to "stimulate"?

My Fellow Americans: The problems are going to be solved by Cap and Trade and a National Health Care Program along with one more Stimulus Package. This is what the President promises. Yet, in two weeks he is taking a trip, (maybe a vacation), to Africa. Top Secret of Course, this time the Transparency must remain Opaque. Yes, it is a Secret Mission no one knows what the overall purpose is as yet and probably will not know after it is completed.

Where exactly does Satan fit on an economic scale? I would have guessed far right, since GREED is one of the 7 deadly sins, and is the presumed driving factor behind a capitalist economy. Shouldn't saying "period" be drawing attention to what the appropriate final punctuation was? If you wanted it to be an exclamation point, why not write: "...the father of telling you lies.
