When I saw her on TV she was explaining the diference between forgive and condone. If it was a moment of bad judgment then she is willing to forgive. When the dude is asking her permission to go have the affair it would be condoning and she made clear she would not condone this behavior.

This woman has no self-respect and I feel sorry for their children. If she takes him back after he publicly professed (and demonstrated) his undying love for this trollop in Argentina, they deserve each other. Sanford is a wh*re and he will not be rehabilitated.

'On June 26, Sanford apologized to state agency chiefs for keeping them in the dark while he jetted off to Argentina to see his mistress. The politician likened his struggle to that of the biblical King David, who "fell mightily ... but then icked up the pieces and built from there."'

This was the commentary to one of the pics in the slideshow accompanying the story.
"icked up the pieces" sounds about right - but he'd have to do one heck of a lot of "icking" before he ever got any intimacy out of me! [IF,G_d forbid!, I were his wife..] -
