What an intriguing building! The unique architecture and the extensive history are fascinating. Thanks, gama.

      It is a fantastic place!
When I lived in Prague I visited there frequently, sometimes attending Conferences, sometimes bringing friends and sometimes just to walk in the beautiful park.
Part of why I'm writing this story today is because I brought some Russian TV people to film there today and they didn't get it at all. Which didn't stop me from having a great time while they shot next-to-nothing! [But it was disappointing..]
One great admirer was Andre Breton, who visited it as early as 1935.
A Dutch admirer of HIS, who attended a conference that I helped to organise a couple of years ago played hookey and took a taxi there and back to see it [about 80 miles] just because of that connection.
