It's a great thing Obama declared torture illegal...wonder if they
    read him his rights?

This should prove to be interesting...to the ACLU...go get
these Afghan fighters and make sure they follow the word of the law - AND DON'T TAKE PICTURES OF TORTURE!!! They might get in trouble with the ACLU and Obama if we see anything not done in accordance with the laws our military has to follow...

If torture were legal it would help this soldier how?

I find the thought of what they are likely going to do this poor soldier to be sickening, an act of monsters. I don't understand why you seem upset that we don't act like monsters too.

Torture is not illegal to protect our enemy, it is illegal to protect ourselves.

Since you think water boarding isn't torture maybe it's ok if they water board him. Since intelligence obtained under water boarding is reliable, maybe he'll finger Cheney.

WTF does what WE do have to do with this? Your flippant and immature comments do no honor to the soldier in harms way.

Oh, and one more thing; What do you think the odds are that those who took that soldier may view him differently if they didn't have the reminder of how bush and his boys treated incarcerated Muslims, many of whom were INNOCENT of wrong doing? I don't expect an intelligent answer from you, so won't check back. You are so not worth it.
