Is there anyone else that sees a similarity between this and Spiro Agnew who was involved with taking bribes from building contractors? If this story is true, her career could be over but sadly she fits right in with the group that left the White House so who knows?

A little tree shaking and the wrong fruit will be dropping down. Palin knows that she's going to have to ride out these storms and best not to do it while she is in office.She has always had too much to hide and it will not take too much stirring of the pot to smell the stench.

What's the difference between taking Bribes and giving them. Currently in the White House we have a president that was giving money to Unions in the guise of a "Bailout" because those people voted for him. Where is your outrage over that? The president just wasted Billions on getting votes and yet you say nothing because they are Liberal votes.

This whole thing shows more about Liberals and their problems that Palins. The Liberal Fem Nazi's never stood up for Palin who is a Women. WHy? Because she is a REpublican. So basically Feminism and women empowerment doesn't count if you don't follow the party lines. Same goes for pretty much anything these Liberals spout about like race. Hate on Condeelza rice, Colin Powell and Justice Thomas but prop up Jesse Jackson.
Liberalism and Feminism is a Joke and Sarah Palin is making it more clear than ever.

I'm not doing a tit for tat here, but we should be outraged when any of them make personal profit off of us over and beyond their salary after we entrusted them and 'allowed' them into office. More times than not these folks forget they are being 'allowed' the privilege of being in office.
Has anyone noticed just how many people in politics (on both sides) go to DC as either Middle Class or even slightly well off, only to become filthy rich?
They make a decent salary indeed, but the costs of living in DC are out the roof. Just how do these people gather such wealth?
Anyone have any suggestions how that wealth is amassed? -

Maybe the best way to word it is just use "Politician" it's all encompassing, and needs to be since there are far fewer honest politicians than there are dishonest one's gaming the system for their own personal benefit at our expense. -

Bad thing? Well all depends on the benefit to the taxpayers. Huey Long here did a lot of "bad things" but the taxpayers benefited a lot by his "misdeeds". Every state in the union has it's share of shady deals and "benefits", name just ONE that doesn't have it's share of "politicians".

Sarah Palin may have a book contract now and may have had 15 minutes of real fame as the Republican Vice Presidential candidate, but I predict she'll fade into semi-obscurity. She has handled many things badly. She takes offense at anything that is not pro-Palin and appears quite vindictive with her revenge. You can't be so reactionary when you're running for office, for there will always be people who actually HATE you--and many who just don't "cotton to you." As tasteless as Letterman's joke was about her oldest daughter (his mistake) there was no reason for her to try to destroy him. Comedians make cruel jokes about Madonna, Liz Taylor, Paris Hilton all the time but those strong females just let it slide--not Palin. That's the difference between a real trooper and a wannabe.

The intellectuals know why Sarah Palin quit and it is not about any real scandal it is about all the scandal that was prefabricated by the Obama administration. She just could not afford to legally contest all the made up issues. The financial expenses were destroying her family purse. Exactly the same way that the radical policies of Obama are destroying the purse of every single American Citizen and leaving the Non American Citizens to bask in the fruits of the Real American Citizens labor.
Obama and his Bandits are out to destroy any promising hope and change that can possibly occur. He has a special staff that their only job is to destroy any honest opposition. This time it was Sarah Palin. But Rush stands above them all Obama looks like a fool when he attacks the true Champion that stands for all that is good and decent about our historical way of life.
Now it is your turn, you simpletons, that's right all you useless good for nothings that spend their days trashing people you don't agree with or are afraid might ruin your monthly get well packages. What have any of you accomplished in your lifetime?
