When doing my research on Rush Limbaugh, I learned that he had to briefly stop playing "My City Was Gone" by the Pretenders until a royalties settlement with Limbaugh is an ongoing donation to PETA.

Now I'm not a PETA nut.....most of them are nuts, too ...but I have to say, "Go, Chrissie Hynde!" She could be making more money, but instead she is making sure he donates to a cause he detests! I love it!

Actually, I have read that Rush is something of a cat person and has upset a number of his groupies for donating to a local Humane Society.

Personally I can't stand PETA, but support the Humane Society and agree, with Chrissie Hynde, if not her cause. Rush sure shouldn't get to play her music and associate it with his show for free.

PETA? Isn't that an acronym for People Eating Tasty Animals?
