hum - telling Putin to "get over it" (cold war) ?????

Putin may tell Obama a thing or two.

"As Obama plans to visit Moscow this month, he might not receive the adulation that he did in Germany and in Cairo, inspiring his audience toward conflict resolution. Obama is predicted to be disappointed by Russia’s confidence in him.

A recent poll by the BBC found that only 23 percent of Russians felt confident that Obama will “do the right thing in world affairs.”"

"Putin may tell Obama a thing or two."

You really want a totalitarian dictator to be telling Obama anything?

" 23 percent of Russians felt confident that Obama will “do the right thing in world affairs."

You really think Russians represent the world in terms of having faith in Obama? I guess you've been -- yet again -- ignoring all the facts.

I think you may have misread Klarissa's post. She was saying that Russians represent how Russians having faith in Obama.

And, no offense, what would Russians know about Obama with their media being essentially run and fed by Putin's propaganda machine?

THey probably know more about Obama than you care to know Dionys. If you knew everything about Obama and CARED to know the bad stuff, then you would not be kissing his rear end like you always do.

Putin is going to eat Obama alive and if Obama can handle himself then more power to him. But a college professor going against a ex-KGB Soviet President is bad news for Obama.

I'm sure he will, just as Obama will tell Putin. And I find this line "he might not receive the adulation that he did in Germany and in Cairo, inspiring his audience toward conflict resolution" to be confrontational. I doubt Obama is giving any thought to receiving "adulation." The man's just trying to do a tough job. Probably best to wait and see how it goes, before jumping the gun with a lot of negative speculation.

I find that line to be a crock of poo poo. It makes no sense. WHo is Germany trying to resolve conflicts with and what proof do we have that Obama did anything to inspire them?

Amazing how people just make this crap up with no facts behind it. I guess that's what you do when you fall in love with someone. You lie to yourself about them. And the Liberals are definitely in love with Obama (for some reason).
