    well, yes, and no.

    in order to get things done quickly, it's important for the government to be able to have a relationship with the private sector...now, if for whatever reason the private firm structures the deal to it's undue benefit because of inside information, that's capitalism, but not necessarily in the best interest of the government or the people.

      by the way, there is supposed to be a chinese wall between people and government service and the firms with which they once worked; another example of this would be - ex-VP Cheney and Halliburton...but enough of that.

        "supposed to be" - like Rubin - lol.
        The Rubin that sits on the Citibank board with the drug czar Roberto Hernandez Rameriz? The Rubin who was our Secretary of the Treasury under Clinton - who
        spent how much time off at the estate of the same drug czar, money launderer,
        on the Yucatan Peninsula - or better known as the Cocaine Peninsula?
        Our President vacations with a drug czar - and the media plays nice and
        doesn't mention it? This is as dirty as it gets.
