60 votes means more unchecked spending that results in unchecked taxing

So, how is that different than the past 8 years?

Did you vote for or against change?

I think it's fair to respond to hypothetical fearmongering with historical reference.

The formula for the last eight years was "don't tax but spend like a drunken sailor anyway." The results were less than stellar.

That only supports the idea that the only thing less fiscally responsible than tax and spend is don't tax and spend.

Glad everyone agrees they are going to waste and waste and tax more.

Is there something wrong with agreeing that it is bad?

Maybe you should talk to your friend GW. He seems to disagree. Not surprising, since he is demonstratively not a conservative, at least in the light of the accepted definition in a dictionary.

We need to stop spending. When the books are balanced and we are in the black, that is when it is fiscally conservative to cut taxes to an amount appropriate to spending.

                  Anything else is fiscally reckless.

Well if that's so, then we'll have 12 years of out of control spending instead of 8. Who you going to vote for in 2012? More CONS to carry on the legacy?
