when i was a kid, it was controversial to use the flag as an article of clothing...i hope no one is offended by this; i believe that these photos celebrate the best of america, if you know what i mean (wink wink)

    Um there are 2 too many men in this article. One second I am looking at the cast of American Pie and then I see a pic of a hairy guy in a speedo and its like way to ruin the moment.

  deathray -- I can remember back in the 1960's when it was considered disrespectful to have any sporting wear that included the flag. Flash forward to now when most of our Olympic athletes use stuff that includes it. They would've been figuratively lynched way back when.

      Times do change. I've always found it interesting how things like that work. The past has a lot to teach us; but one can't always accept it slavishly. Or the reverse.

        It took me years to accept changes that my parents and grandparents knew and we lived by them, but do you think maybe they wouldnt mind just seeing us have a little fun, laughing and cutting up. sometimes I well be satting here and just think what someone had said in a comment and I just bust out laughing, sometimes I wish it was like it was before but its gone now and our ways well be gone when our children and grandchildren go on in life, sometimes it hurts and sometime I need something to make me laugh. how about you?
