Sanctions may have failed long ago, But God has not failed you, have you given up on the allmighty God? I dont think so, does anyone pray anymore and ask God for Guideness, wisdom and wise? Hes still here all he wants is your asking, he can do anything, make a mountain move and God can get angery with his children when he is trying to guide the path to take, it well be the right path he well not fail you nor forsack his chosen ones.

FTA: "Those who oppose Iran acquiring nuclear weapons are left in the near term with only the option of targeted military force against its weapons facilities."
Reply
What would be the justification for such an attack? Fear of Iran? Wouldn't Iran be even more justified in attacking Israel after this open threat?
FTA: "Significantly, the uprising in Iran also makes it more likely that an effective public diplomacy campaign could be waged in the country to explain to Iranians that such an attack is directed against the regime, not against the Iranian people."
Dream on. When the Iranians want regime change, they'll do it themselves. I suspect they would love any "liberators" dropping bombs on them as much as the Iraqis and Afghans do. When Iranians are killed, it's against the Iranian people, and no amount of propaganda can change that. -

> Why is Israel so frightened that Iran might develop one nuclear weapon when Israel has already done it...
Reply
Probably because Iran did and does threaten to "destroy" Israel while Israel did not make any threats of destroying Iran or any other country. You may understand it better if you'll consider that most people do not have a problem with a policeman carrying a gun but they DO have a problem with a violent murderer carrying the very same gun.

A military strike on Iran would do much more harm than good. It wouldn't stop their nuclear program, it would probably accelerate it. Iran's centrifuges are spread out and deep in bunkers where they will be hard to destroy. If Israel attacks them we should totally turn our back on Israel.

Sorry, I didn't read the article. my feelings on a strike against Iran are that it's not a good idea, and I have different reasons for thinking this way, although to many they may not seem like valid reasons.
Reply
My first reason has to do with the election that just took place in Iran which showed that a great number of people do not approve of the government that they had or once again have, and to attack Iran could unify a country that we know is not all extremists.
My second reason for being against it has to do with the fact that Iran makes its intentions so well known that it makes it not quite as much of a threat as those who say nothing and will stab you in the back.
My third reason is when I look at North Korea I see a country that is run by people who are just as extreme as the religious powers that control Iran and even with all their saber rattling they know better than actually attack anyone with a nuclear weapon and the same does apply to Iran. Can I guarantee no attack, of course not, but I can say that an attack on Iran will just lead to the use of extremists in other Arab countries to attack the civilian population of Israel, and this will be sponsered by Iran and other Arab countries. -
