After quitting her Governor job, there is no way in hell she can run for president.
Reply
Not only will the other Republicans trying for that position would use that against her, you know the Democrats would as well if the Republicans are crazy enough to nominate her as their gal.
I mean dang guys, I always liked her testiness and McCain needed someone to help his lackluster personality. However, there is no way mo how that anyone can think her stepping down like she did makes her even close to being a noteworthy move to be president. She's toast IMO.
The Republicans need to come up with someone else that is qualified, which they can do, but Obama's Charisma vs all those I've seen so far the reps have talked about is like a flashlight trying to be noticed in the midst of a Super Nova. The DC Republicans had better wake up sooner or later. or the notion the Left about them not gaining power for a very long time will be true. Especially if you continue to hang your hat on Palin, NOW that she has stepped down.
How easy would it be for her opponents to show her as a quitter and just ask "do you want a quitter for President when that 3am call comes in"?
Stop messing around republicans, you are looking foolish on this one.-

I don't think she's dead. I think she's going to become a rally cry to the downfall of the Dems and libs. We will no longer sit on our hands and not fight the left. She's been under attack continuously and that costs a lot of money. The left has unlimited resources when it comes to this kind of attack. From the news shows to shows like SNL, she was under fire 24/7.

I think the final straws here were her family and their funds. Unlike the ivy league DC beltline crowd, she doesn't come from money like Kerry, Kennedy or Kohl. The final straw was some of the GOP attack groups including Romney and former McCain staffers. Those of us who liked her will remember this when they come around for donations next time.

Smart? He got into college on affirmative action, just like his beast of a wife. He ignores his white heritage, and focuses on his black father who abandoned him. He doesn't realize that cap and trade is going to make the umemployment numbers go even higher. He is not smart, you are not smart, and neither is 52% of the American population...now there's a shocker! I'm smiling, though. I AM smart, and I make money off of bad economic times. I buy properties for pennies on the dollar, and my gold has risen about 700% thanks to this inflation. Obama can try, but he can't get my money! Good luck to you, dude. You're going to need it!

Or on the other hand inserting race into the conversion when everyone already knows their race verses their ability could denote the same thing?
Reply
It's akin to saying I this 'black' friend that I like very much sort of thing. If he's your friend the fact that he's black has nothing to do with it.
59's approach though on the same vain is the most appropriate way to say it.
When you say it like you did you project that the only reason some don't like Obama's policies is because of the color of his skin, which is wrong (though there are those like, that they are in the minority over those that just don't like the policies regardless of his skin color, and would not like those policies if a white man put them into action). In the end it's just tossing out the race card to demean others but all you accomplished was show your own bigotry. Besides that, what's wrong with Palin being white?-

It's what's wrong with her being an Armageddonist, failed "Abstinence Only" pusher, community organizer basher, anti-gay marriage (because it will destroy the sanctity of marriage) while having an affair hypocrite, lying beyotch is what is wrong.

I am probably going to make a huge mess of these words.
One of the things that defines how old I am: is that I remember the day Kennedy was shot.
I was walking home from kindergarten with my Mom, when she told me, It may be my youngest memory.
There was a good bit of time when Catholics where not thought of very well, in this country.
I am neither Black nor Catholic, but if I had been old enough to vote....I think that voting for a Catholic may have been one of the positive reasons I would have voted for Kennedy, out of a long list of other reasons.
I would be a liar if I said that the color of Obama's skin did not influence my decision.
But it fell at the bottom of a long list.
There have been many folks that have entered the public arena that do not look like me.
I do not consider it to be racist, if I put a little more weight on someone that speaks from a minority standpoint (Catholic, Woman, Black, Gay) and still appears to speak to my condition.
There are plenty of folks who do not speak to it, who do not look like me.
But I do not feel like a hypocrite for considering it.

Kristol, a devout jew, is the son of Irving Kristol, founder of the neocon movement, which is designed to use what ever means necessary to preserve Israel through manipulation of American policy, usually through military action.
Reply
Dual citizens Libby, Wolfawitz, and a host of other presidential neocon advisers had the Iraq invasion to murder the enemies of Israel ready to go long before Saudi Arabs flew planes into the WTC. The oil war profiteers like Cheney were ready to take over Iraq oil, so the invasion was sold to the gullible morons of america by the lying war profiteers and neocon zionists, resulting in 36,000 dead or injured american soldiers, and trillions in profits for big oil and the military industrial complex, and millions of muslims dead, the enemies of christian and jewish evangelical zionists the world over.-

You are so right. It's people like Kristol, Libby, Wolfawitz, Perle (all Jewish btw) who got us into the Iraq war. George W. Bush just did as AIPAC/Israel told him. We are as occupied by Israel as the Palestinians are--just in a different way. They control our media, TV, movies, newspapers, and our government (through money and pressure.) Many who call themselves "Americans" actually put Israel's interests _before_ those of the people of the USA. This is not only un-American, but very damaging to the American way of life. You only have to look around you and learn about the pitiful state this nation is in to realize that something has gone very badly wrong. Lay most of it at the feet of the ones who are in control. And it sure is NOT Mr./Ms. Average American. Right now, President Obama has these same AIPAC wolves breathing down his neck, with Rahm Emmanuel leading the pack (father a rabid Zionist).

It's nice to see the Nazis are back.... Funny, I've made claims that they were a bunch of liberals, thanks for supporting my claims.
Reply
As to war for oil, are you really that dumb? If we were simply taking over countries for their oil, we would have shot all of you libs and drilled here. Then moved on to Mexico and Canada. Combined we have more oil than most of the Middle East.
As to the other claims, if any of that were true, the only place the Islamic faith would be found would be in the fiery pits of hell.... We would have erased all of them. Look at Israel. They would have no problem marching from the Med to India. There is no army in the Arab or Persian world to stop them.

Bill Kristol was one of the group of Repubs who went to Alaska and were "courted" by then Governor Palin. I suspect that he found her quite attractive--as most males seem to do. He has been pushing her forward ever since, and it was through his influence that she was brought out of obscurity (where she should have stayed) and thrust into the limelight (which she obviously has difficulty dealing with when it's anything negative.) She is NOT the kind of LEADER we need at the helm of the United States of America. We have more problems now than any human can deal with--most brought on by the predatory capitalistic/socialistic government that we are all suffering under. Palin would be worse than George Bush (yes, that IS possible.) She can't stand criticism. She tries to destroy anyone who crosses her. Not very Christian like traits in my book. An ex-beauty contestant with a B. A. in Journalism is hardly the resume for president.

Dumbocrats attack Palin because they know deep down that she is a legitimate threat to beat the Messiah.

The reason Republicans lost was not Sarah's fault.
It was McCain not being Conservative enough.
With her in the top spot she will win.
Especially after Obama finishes screwing up our Nation.
You all are just scared of her.
All of the personal attacks prove it.-

Auto-
the reason Republicans lost (starting in 2006) is because Americans have had enough of the pseudo-conservative controlled Republican Party. It wasn't McCain, it wasn't Palin, it was the Bush Administration. -

Sarah Palin's a quitter. Couldn't tough it out. Couldn't learn from her mistakes. Chose the wrong advisors and didn't listen to anyone who said anything she didn't want to hear. I wouldn't want a person of her inferior qualities to come anywhere near the White House except to visit as a tourist.
