    Just as profitable to "cure" Alzheimer's as it is to treat it. The real savings will be in getting rid of the Alzheimer's or dementia wards in assisted living facilities and the constant, around the clock care. On average, patients don't stay on Alzheimer's meds beyond 9 months.
