This is one weird story! Not a word about safe-sex. Who thinks that the British are staid and "proper" these days? BTW this anonymous sex is NOT my cup of tea at all.. The pre-AIDS 60's were MUCH more fun in England and most other places!

The widespread use of sex for pleasure began in about 1998 or 1999. At that time, many twenty somethings or thirty somethings were feverishly engaged in examining and debugging gazillions of lines of computer code in order to prevent the impending collapse of civilization forecast for January 1, 2000. Those who could not debug turned to sex.

I have dated a lot of women that were the sex on the first date type. I had very little interest in that scene. I never ever heard anyone talk of orgies, or even threesomes. I'm sure if I had the time I could find four women that would do that. Don't expect any beauties, same for the guys!!

Thanks G. This is really a sad social statement of self-deception supported by trendy rationalizations that cannot possibly meet the test of time. Framing these affairs as the female's version of sexual assertiveness truly lacks a valid excuse for irresponsible indulgence. As a man who has experienced the misgivings of over-indulgence and escapism through misusing sexual gratification, I know that this is not a case, which justifies gender equality.

Some of us learn early, some late, and some - never at all that sexuality is more than an appetite and whim to be shared randomly during periods when "meaningful relationships" are unavailable or inappropriate. Pleeeze! Squeeze the KY and cultivate a good fantasy with your horny self and for goodness sakes leave your meaningless relationships unharmed. -

relationship at some future time doesn't factor in ANY of the
hazards these groups "flirt" with.
This is the age of wondering if some total stranger is going to
snap a photo of you in the loo, for God's sake! They have to be
members - Oh - I'm so sure that makes it all nice and private!
They will mature at some point and rue the day they ever thought
this was such an empowering experience.....I fear.
Such behavior is nothing new - it's been around for centuries -
but the TECHNOLOGY to keep your image, hence your personal
history, out there for ALL(including future children or spouses) to see for decades in living color - even video.....that these

Ante and Gama you both raised some good points. The one most obvious and one I wish the reporter could've found out more about. Who organizes this? Whose home? Who is making the money?

To me this raises some really big concerns. If it is a male or group of males getting their rocks off organizing this: a. are they participants? Ie the few males in attendance? Something tells me no. b. since it's a private mansion, could there not be a secret room downstairs and upstairs where the organizers could not only watch but film it?

Not for me,to many people and i am over thirty..:-)
The only thing i would worry about would be disease.As a product of the sixty's i had my share of fun,and many others share also..lolol,so i have little room to talk when it come to right and wrong in others sexual affairs.My dad said if i had been born a woman i would have been called a sl.t(see the stereotyping?).If these people are adults and this is the decision they make then what ever happens in the future is based on their choice and they will have to live with it.
In America the hypocrisy concerning sexual matters is legend.We have a porn industry that rakes in about five billion a year,sex toys bring in another billion,and not many admit to buying or using either,all the while we have unwanted pregnancy's, and not enough education on disease and some of the emotional aspects of a very promiscuous lifestyle. ...lol...Must be liberals only..sorry couldn't resist.
I see nothing wrong with it if you are informed and protected,in fact i might have a bit of envy that i never got to experience something like that.:-) -
