Posted By capj71 5 months, 3 weeks ago in Political NewsOn MSNBC’s Morning Joe today, co-host Mika Brzezinski rushed to the defense of Sarah Palin while criticizing the “mainstream media” for not understanding that Palin represents the views of real Americans and not the liberal elite who live in cities. So I guess the real Americans are 30%-40% who approve of Palin, and the millions who voted for Obama aren’t?

Apparently Ms. Brzezinski doesn't realize that most Americans live in cities. According to the latest census, nearly four times as many Americans live in urban areas than in rural ones.

What if you had a brain tumor and she were running to be your brain surgeon...would you want her to do the surgery based on the fact that she was 'just like you...a real American'?
It's amazing how we are so willing to hire someone below the top 1% of the bell curve and pick someone who is average for the most powerful position in the world..because they are 'just like us."
When I'm evaluated every six months in my job...if I'm average...I get fired. Yet we consider being average to be perfect qualifications for the Presidency...lol.
You look at 100 resumes, 3 are in the top 3 percent...so let's throw the top 10 out and pick from the middle of the stack...
