FDA Slaps Strong Warning on Darvon, Darvocet »

The FDA today called for a boxed warning of overdose risk on packages of Darvon, Darvocet and other painkillers containing the drug propoxyphene -- but it will not order their withdrawal from the market.

    I'd take Darvon over Codeine any day. I quit my last dentist because they were only willing to give me a Codeine product for pain relief from a tooth infection.

    I wonder if the number of 'accidental' overdoses would decrease if some form of doctor assisted suicide were available for people suffering incurable diseases or irreversible mental degeneration.
