Israeli archaeologists have uncovered an ancient quarry where they believe King Herod extracted stones for the construction of the Jewish Temple 2,000 years ago.

They believe that it was the King Herod who wanted to construct a Jewish temple. It is very funny they believe anything to support their occupation becomes the Gospel truth.Well, I have no doubt in my mind that whenever Israel wants to find something to justify their occupation, it is always possible and it will be theres and also you will find that it is in their books too. Most of the Zionists were converted to Judaism and they were from Kazar and they wanted to find that the land of the Palestinians was promised to them by God in their holy book and they will find anything they want, and they would quote so many so called prophesies too. Some Zionist supporters claim that the land was given to them by the British, so the Britain also ruled India but they did not give a part of India to Zionists and the question is why because they did not own that land and here they were colonialists and the land did not belong to them. And this is how they justify illegally occupying Palestine after throwing out 7 millions of them and they are refugees, living around the world. Now the Israelis build settlements in the name of natural growth, so the world is silent because they are God's chosen people. God loves criminal occupiers, invaders and oppressors in the name of chosen people.-

Sorry, but this is just another anti-Israeli rant. It's entirely possible and very likely that they DID find Herod's quarry. There's PLENTY of evidence to show Jewish occupation of the area 2000 years ago in the form of historical documents, including Roman ones and not simply Biblical texts. There WAS a temple there PREVIOUS to the destruciton in 70AD and it had likely been there quite some time.

That said, it doesn't justify Israel's claims to the region or their practices in the region in recent decades. Romans, Helenic Greeks and Palestinians occupied the area as well.-

This is correct. The very existence of Israel serves as a justification of its claims to the land it occupies just as the very existence of Egypt does. After all, the Egyptians DO NOT try to justify their claims to the region by the existence of the ancient Egypt prior to the occupation of the land by the Arabs in the 7th century.

As far as I recall no one demands destruction of Italy, Greece or any one of the 22 Arab states, Dionys...
