Fox News Pushes Obama Stimulus Conspiracy Theory »

Fox News has hopped on the latest right wing conspiracy theory that congressional districts that supported Barack Obama are getting more federal stimulus money that those that supported McCain. Fox News’ Stuart Varney opened his piece with, “It’s not who you know, but who you voted for…” Of course, FNC ignored the obvious explanation for the imbalance that countries that were hurting did not vote for the guy who said that the fundamentals of our economy are strong.

Dropped because the story and it's implications are nonsense. Why do you say that they're pushing the new conservative conspiracy theory? Because you didn't watch enough of the video to see democrat Martin Frost give the other side of the story? Because you were not smart enough to hear where Stuart said the story came from USA Today? Was it because you didn't notice that when Stuart started speaking he said “It’s not who you know, but who you voted for…” followed by saying "that determines how much stimulus you're getting? Really?" Obviously by his tone of voice he was not saying this was how he felt.

If Fox news is the only news media you trust, I pity you. You are totally brainwashed with their hateful propaganda. They are not even an American station! They are owned by an Australian who loves to stir up lies and smears to get idiots like you to watch. If you had a single thread of common sense and reasoning ability, you wouldn't watch FOX. I'm sure you just salivate over every word of Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Savage, etc. They are bordering on sedition. They'll step over the line soon I hope and we can jail them!

The imbalance didn't start with the stimulus. From 2005 through 2007, the counties that later voted for Obama collected about 50% more government aid than those that supported McCain, according to spending reports from the U.S. Census Bureau.

why??? because they have the greatest need. red states like mississippi, louisiana, kentucky etceteras are among the poorest states in the union.
this should be an embarrassment to the repubs, and maybe it is, hence silly stories like this. -
