I study history--not the pap that CNN and FOX put out, but books that the average bookstore doesn't carry. Journey to Jerusalem by Grace Halsell, Jewish Supremacy by David Duke, Final Judgment by Michael Collins Piper, etc. Americans are brainwashed by a closed media that wants us to think in a certain way, act in a certain way. Every time they want us in a war, they manage a disaster like 9/11 and Pearl Harbor--and appeal to the patriotism in Americans--and thousands of Americans die fighting--not for freedom and country but for the ones who own this country and its corporations, including the Media. Nobody I talk to knows that in 1953 the USA overthrew the government of Iran and put the Shah in place so we could get CHEAP OIL. And when the Iranians overthrew the Shah, we acted like it was the end of the world--it was just the end of our getting cheap oil, that's all. We're demonizing them again and trying to overthrow their government again. News flash: the world is waking up; the old ways don't work as well--case in point: Iraq--an illegal, undeclared war, costing trillions of US dollars and over 4,000 American lives--once again--for OIL and because Israel perceives Iraq/Iran as threats. If Israel weren't armed to the teeth with nukes, the Middle East wouldn't be such a threat. Israel will never know peace till they learn to live with the Palestinians--and their neighbors. And oil is a curse, not a blessing. It has made us dependent, dishonest, and dysfunctional.

Beautiful touching insight my dear friend fempatriot. Just to elaborate on your point about books. Now a days bookstores do not carry such sort of books all I see are EVIL books which only lead our society to further stupidity all is see is 100 ways to have sex with your man, or such other junk in COSMOPOLITAN magazine. Not a single book store as a book which actually talks about a eductional topic. I just get sad and I get tears that our young generation is being brain washed to DEATH and we will have a future where we will have no BRAINS but 1980 orwell view of things will come true.. sad but reality and truth
