Honestly, I am surprised that such a conservative country is already fighting with such a controversial issue. It wasn't that long ago that gay sex was a horrible and frowned upon act in the United States by law, and that only changed back in the 20th century. To see the same debates happening in India is shocking. I wish homosexual couples the best with this crucial fight for their human-rights, privacy, and dignity. I hope this sparks more debate among what laws should be left to private decision-making, and which laws preserve the culture of the nation.
