"The folksy Collins led the Human Genome Project that, along with a competing private company, mapped the genetic code — or, as he famously called it, "the book of human life."
"It is humbling for me, and awe-inspiring, to realize that we have caught the first glimpse of our own instruction book, previously known only to God," he said at a 2000 White House ceremony marking release of the genome's first draft.

So this is Obama's pick to head of the NIH but he's one of those who believes that the universe was created by intelligent design.

I dropped it because of your comment Nostalgia and because Wolfie posted it and tried to put an anti Obama spin on it. Good enough reasons for me. And ,I must add, Wolfie goes around dropping any article posted by those who regularly disagree with him regardless of the article content. I think they call it turn-about and it is fair.

I can't ask a legitimate question?
What does Wolfie's comment have to do with the content of the story?
"I think they call it turn-about and it is fair"
I think it is more accurate to call it childish and immature
So by your reasoning I should scroll through stories and drop anything posted by someone I disagree with politically?
I should drop stories if anyone has posted a comment I disagree with even if the story has merit?
