"The folksy Collins led the Human Genome Project that, along with a competing private company, mapped the genetic code — or, as he famously called it, "the book of human life."

"It is humbling for me, and awe-inspiring, to realize that we have caught the first glimpse of our own instruction book, previously known only to God," he said at a 2000 White House ceremony marking release of the genome's first draft.

For that work, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award. But he may be more widely known for his 2007 best-selling book, "The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief."

So this is Obama's pick to head of the NIH but he's one of those who believes that the universe was created by intelligent design.
This has got to be very disappointing and upsetting to you die hard Darwinists and Evolutionists here on Propeller, huh?

Now why would ANYONE drop an article on such an eminent scientist?

I dropped it because of your comment Nostalgia and because Wolfie posted it and tried to put an anti Obama spin on it. Good enough reasons for me. And ,I must add, Wolfie goes around dropping any article posted by those who regularly disagree with him regardless of the article content. I think they call it turn-about and it is fair.
