Iraq vet takes over DADT fight in Congress »

Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-PA), an Iraq war veteran, has taken over as chief sponsor of the Military Readiness Enhancement Act (MREA), a bill to repeal DADT. Murphy, who is straight, said he has always opposed DADT, and will meet with members of Congress individually to garner the needed votes to pass MREA.
