On first glance, the snapshot appears to show President Obama caught in a moment of less than lofty analysis. But upon looking at the video, producers back in DC tell me, the moment seems to actually be quite innocent -- one of those times when a picture can be misleading. The president was on a higher step and was stepping down -- so he looked down to assure his footing as the woman was walking up the stairs.

Just goes to show how an image, depending on how it was photographed, and the angle in which it was taken, can be interpreted in a way that may not, or doesn't, represent the true nature of the image.

Add to that the ability to alter an image with Photoshop, which I use everyday, and one can see that it's quite easy to present an image that didn't exist in the first place.
Remember the picture last September of Sarah Palin in the bikini, holding some sort of automatic weapon beside a pool? Easy to do, with the right software, and some talent... -

LOL yeah he was looking at stairs! It appears to me that if he was watching his step he'd be looing down to where his feet were going to be placed instead of the motion machine far to his right.

Man oh man, his wife may have to break out those guns everyone brags about and sock him a good one.
But hopefully she's a progressive thinker and knows guys just can't help looking. I'm sure all the other guys were busy checking out his wife's wares at the same time he was checking out this lady.
As long as he's not making trips to Argentina or smoking cigars in the Oval office I'd say he'll be ok. -

Frankly I would have had successive photos of me falling down the stairs from continuing to twist and look over my shoulder to make the most of the 'moment'. She definitely has admirable 'features'.

I greatly dislike this president. I however will defend him with this. The video didn't look like he was checking her out. Also, while the back looks very nice, there are photos of her front. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have noticed her at all. No offense, this is the typical EU news slime out there.

Oberma is very articulate and as it is his style, he appears to be admiring the physical attributes of this young woman... This falls directly in line in his unique ability as President, to appear to be Kissing the Royal 'A--'s' of all the Foreign Leaders around the World..
Jimmy 'The NUT' Carter and Oberma appear to be similar in their respective decision making as President, Not A Good Thing For Americans...

I saw the video, yes Obama was checking her out, followed through with the fake look to the ground to create the plausible deniability. We have all done it. Geezh, he is a guy, he's human.

I don't get it. Have the press just all gone COMPLETELY brain dead? Jesus Haephestus Christ! If the poor guy was in a museum and was looking at a PAINTING of a nude woman, would anyone think a single thing about it? Why should looking at a live, clothed one cause the slightest little bit of comment. If he DIDN'T look, I'd be more worried.

I think you're the one who is coming across as hysterical. Nothing about this photo bothers me as it would not suprise any healthy heterosexual male. We're programmed to look. We only have about ten thousand years of culture to fight against two million years of evolution. We might try to be discrete, but everyman sneaks a peak unless he is past his prime.
