I think the news media is trying to make a big deal out of nothing

Guarantee you he ain't looking at a "step", even the French President has a wry smirk on his face. Now ... if Obama was looking at the French President's butt that would be NEWS !! :-)

"Guarantee you he ain't looking at a 'step'", Counselor?

I presume you are not a trial lawyer.

The video from which this still was lifted proves Obama was indeed looking at a step:

Just goes to show how an image, depending on how it was photographed, and the angle in which it was taken, can be interpreted in a way that may not, or doesn't, represent the true nature of the image.

Add to that the ability to alter an image with Photoshop, which I use everyday, and one can see that it's quite easy to present an image that didn't exist in the first place.

Remember the picture last September of Sarah Palin in the bikini, holding some sort of automatic weapon beside a pool? Easy to do, with the right software, and some talent...

What I, - no, WE want to know, UnusualSuspect,
is why you are facing 'right' in your picture,
but your eyes are darting left .

          You seem nervious.
          Are you up to something?
          Is someone over there ?

It's our right to know 'cause we are on the internet.

I never said he was shifty.
              We trust him completely.

              I said we were nosy.
There is a diference; just not much.

              But as pictures go,
              - there is something off about yours.

It seems familiar and I remain convinced I have seen it before
on the side of a milk carton, on the wall of the post office,
or late at night in the shadows cast by the street lamp.

It looks evil frankly but who am I to judge?

              LOL...CRYMT...

As I recall, I was just standing there, and I happened to look to the right when the picture was taken...and as far as I can tell, my eyes are also looking to the right...

              Sorry...no big mystery to it...!
