Meanwhile, the red state white trash, children starving, still think baby jesus appointed the moguls that are raping the economy, to be the rich and powerful, they keep voting repug, and keep f....ing themselves.
As long as they have plenty of cousins to hump, a mega church to donate their money, plenty ammo for their 10 guns, and billybob crackerhead drives his racecar in a circle on their tv machines, they'll vote repug.

Some think not. Some blame Bill Clinton and Robert Rubin.
Blaming a party or and individual on a complex series of events does a huge disservice to the problem. What we should learn from this is our politicians are far from perfect and by politicizing it, gives cover to those politicians and party's.
As to the story, nothing saddens me more than the thought of a child going hungry and the suffering of a parent helpless to prevent it.-

I worry that charitable donations will also be down because people won't have as much to give. It all feeds on itself. I don't know all the dirty fingers behind our situation but it's a pretty dark time for a growing number of people, even those who never thought they'd be in financial need. Children shouldn't have to worry about the basics.
