This story serves as a follow-up to the one I posted before about the two gay men who were detained and subsequently arrested for trespassing at the LDS Temple in Salt Lake City. The two men would not have been detained were it not for the fact that they were kissing in the square. This protest serves as a peaceful demonstration against the hatred and bigotry of the LDS church. Instead of condemning gays and lesbians as horrible and inferior people, the gatherers sought to show that human love wins out over their bigotry every time.

It didn't used to be this way. It used to be public property til 2003 when the government and church who have no separation "sold" it to the church primarily to keep people from asserting public rights. These bastards should be stripped of their tax exempt status for political activities like banking prop 8 in CA. F the moron church.

Well I don't like to see straight couples slobbing all over each other and touching each others bodies in a sexual matter in public.

I took my two young nieces to the park yesterday to feed the ducks and swing and right there in plan sight lying on a picnic table on top of each other was a straight couple doing things that should have not been done in public. There were people all around with their children and the city police drove through three time that I saw and they did nothing.
I don't mind any one kissing, holding hands or hugging but when you are acting like your in your bedroom and getting it on thats stepping over the line, and that goes for everyone.
I called and complained about it and how inappropriate it was and that people were allowed to behave like that and that the police drove right by them because they were on the first table as you drive into the park and did nothing. I know they had to have seen them. If I get any response from my call I WILL be surprised. -
