At this point in time, there are five major browsers to choose from: Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Mozilla's Firefox, Apple's Safari, Google's Chrome and the self-titled browser from Opera. All of them are free to use, they work with most operating systems and enjoy frequent updates to fix problems or add new features.

    Very interesting article about Internet browsers. I happen to have both IE8 & Firefox 3.5 on my PC.

      Like the article. I also have Firefox (3.0) and IE 8. I prefer to use Firefox, as it works quite well on most every site I visit.

        Great article as these browsers are free as you say so using them without great difficulty is all cool.
