The Holy See Cracks Down on Radical Leftist Nuns »
Posted By btatman22 5 months, 3 weeks ago in Political OpinionImagine Maria Von Trapp burning her bra to Helen Reddy’s “I am Woman,” and that will give you a pretty accurate image of the modern leftist nun. As a species she is, for the most part, unique to the United States, yet her goals of promoting radical feminism and leftist policies are worldwide and transnational in character: For early evidence of this look no further than “The Ho Chi Minh Memorial Gas Tank” in Boston, Massachusetts, by anti-war activist, Sister Corita Kent.

Why did these women take the vows they took if they don't agree with the philosophy of the church? Since they don't agree why not be truthful and honest and leave? I can only conclude they are intent on undermining the doctrine and principles of the Catholic religion and what they are doing is spiritually dishonest.

Why is the Pope a Nazi? Like it or not, it is a part of his past, which he cannot deny. He served in their uniform and was a POW. The radical right-wing moves the Catholic Church has brought about a vast fleeing of many former Catholics either to renounce religion, or to mega-mart churches which are springing up throughout the US. Now, the Pope wants to crack down on nuns? He is a nitwit, and his visions are more like hallucinations.

Sounds like a witch hunt to me. The Southern Baptists pulled one a few years back, and knocked women members back a couple thousand years. Now the Catholics want to get in on the act. Comparing these nuns to pedophile priests is a disgrace.

But people are brainwashed to believe folklore and they are even willing to die for it. -

FTA-I once asked a professor of mine named Sister Margaret Gannon, if she embraced Communist principles, to which she unhesitatingly responded that she did. Leaving aside the fact that the Catholic Church has been historically at odds with Godless societies, Communism was also responsible for the deaths of at least eighty million people in the last century

Smoke and mirrors
Notice how the author asked "if she embraced Communist principles". Then tells the reader that "Catholic Church has been historically at odds with Godless societies, Communism was also responsible for the deaths of at least eighty million people"
The principles of communism are not at odds with faith. Seems to me the princple of "communism" is what Jesus taught, not the form of government the former Soviet Union in practice had, which to me is what the author was referring to -

He didn't support communism...he was however a staunch believer in individualism. In Christianity everyone must be free in this world to sin and make their own choices, whether good or bad. How else will they be judged in heavan?

Also, it doesn't matter what form liberalism initially takes...the end is always the same. Liberalism in Russia started out as fairly genteel, but evolved into something much uglier....and it violently quashed religion when brainwashing didn't work. That's why the Catholic Church was at odds with it...like Liberalism(which is Godless) Communism tries to create heavan on earth. Yeah, that's not what christianity is all about...read your bible...if you have one.-

Bible you say?
Acts 2:42 – 45: 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things in common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Acts 4:32-37: 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. 36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
Acts 5:1-10, is perhaps the most blatant and relevant evidence that the Apostles and early Christians did not view Communism as something optional:
Mark 12:28-31: 28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord; 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Yeah, sharing is great. I share all the time with people I care about. But, sharing and stealing aren't the same thing. When the gov't robs peter to pay paul...okay that's not sharing. In Christianity charity is a PERSONAL responsibilty not a public priority. -

The Communist in America have infiltrated everything from our education system to our judicial system, and yes the Catholic Church. Its an attempt to demoralize the faithful into accepting their politically correct corrupted secular religious agenda.

This is the same bunch that groom and insert Homosexual priests into the church. My friends, you have to be aware of what is going on in our country. This is pure evil, and it is important that you understand it's agenda.
