Bombshell: Orders revoked for soldier challenging prez »
Posted By Temlakos 5 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsA U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after he argued that he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proved his legitimacy under Article II of the Constitution. ("No person, except a natural-born citizen,...shall be eligible...")

FTA:
"We are going to be asking for release of Obama's records because now this completely undermines the military. It revoked this order, but it can come up with another order tomorrow. It can come up with orders for other people," she said. "Am I going to be flying around the country 1,000 times and paying the fees every time they issue an order?"
Taitz said the issue "must be resolved immediately," and she will continue working to ensure Obama proves he is eligible for office.
"We're going to be asking the judge to issue an order for Obama to provide his vital records to show he is legitimately president," she said. "We're going to say, we have orders every day, and we'll have revocations every day. This issue has to be decided."
She said there cannot be any harm to the president if he is legitimately holding office.
"If he is legitimate, then his vital records will prove it," Taitz said. "If he is illegitimate, then he should not have been there in the first place."
Asked what this decision means for every other serviceman who objects to deployment under a president who has not proven he is eligible for office, Taitz responded:
"Now, we can have each and every member of the military – each and every enlistee and officer – file something similar saying 'I will not take orders until Obama is legitimately vetted.'"-

I doubt a civilan court will even hear the case(his orders have been recended by the military, not the president) and Cook should face a court martial and be dishonorably discharged for volunteering for service and when the orders were issued, trying this stunt. Any soldier refusing the CiC's order should be put in the brig and charged.

It's called INSUBORDINATION! It's called FAILURE TO OBEY A DIRECT ORDER. It is a court martial offense.
Reply
The military withdrew it's deployment order while they file charges and kick this a$$hole out of the military or better yet, as the attached suggests, a worse fate

Never since the days of the Civil War ... has the movement to create a separate nation become so strong!
I remember there was a small story I read during the Clinton years ... he was giving a speech at a military installation ... and a clutch of the soldiers turned their back on him.
And we all know how Sarah Palin supported her husband in his Alaska Separatist Movement.
Governor Perry begins talking about separating from the Union.
But nowhere is the desire to separate from the Union so persistent than right here on Propeller ... where any lunatic story as to why the Democratically elected President of the United States is illegitimate.
You know ... just the other day ... I made the claim to a Propeller member . . . that it was evident that he HATED THE UNITED STATES.
I took some grief for that remark.
And yet ... look at the tone of these Right Wing Separatists ... they HATE the concept of The UNITED States.
They hate the freely elected president.
They hate paying taxes to the Federal Government.
They hate helping their fellow citizens.
Of course ... they DON'T mind accepting money from the Federal Government ... which ... is a testament to their Fundamental ... Lunatic ... Hypocrisy.
So I ask you ... these people like gandalf ... and others who refuse to acknowledge the results of the 2008 elections ... would you REALLY want to live in a nation inhabited by these loony wackos?
I mean ... these people are really crazy!
I am talking sick .... oh ... sicko.
What this is .... is Cletus ... and Jethro ... and Goober ... gettin hold of a computer ... and ... voila ... now they can talk and talk about all the stuff they bore their wives and / or husbands with.
But to normal ... every day Americans ... Each is so useless if each one had a third hand he would need another pocket to put it in.
Duh.

You'll note that everyone is talking--at least on other social sites--about the first part: the soldier making his initial declaration. When they realize that that soldier actually got his deployment orders revoked, there's no telling how they'll take that.

The larger question is whether any other soldiers draw the moral, and if so, how many. -

It's a set up. Cook should be court-martialed and given a dishonorable discharge for this stunt.
Cook submitted a formal written request to Human Resources Command-St. Louis on May 8, 2009 volunteering to serve one year in Afghanistan with Special Operations Command, U.S. Army Central Command, beginning July 15, 2009. The soldier's orders were issued on June 9, Quon said.
"A reserve soldier who volunteers for an active duty tour may ask for a revocation of orders up until the day he is scheduled to report for active duty," Quon said.

"Wikipedia also was found to have been reporting on Obama's birth in Kenya"

Right here, you know the author doesn't do their homework. Wikipedia doesn't "report" Wikipedia is entirely user-submitted content, therefore any false info can be placed on Wikipedia before it is "scrubbed" (i.e. removed by peer-review).-

You can go on wikipedia and make up any kind of crap you want. It is NOT an accurate or even truthful reference source!

If this had been a liberal soldier refusing Bush's orders then the nazi liberals would be declaring him a national hero. I like this major. Perhaps Obama bin Laden will show his birth certificate and then the mess will be over. But he won't and probably can't because I'm betting it will make him the 1st illegal president elected by the nazi liberals. Keep up the good work major. U have my respect.

Do you think this Major thought that President Obama was not legally the Commander in Chief when he requested his year long deployment to Afghanistan on May 8, 2009, and that he had some kind of revelation since then?

You Baracknaphobes are a real pleasure to read. Keep up the good work we need fewer Republicans in both the House and Senate.

It seems to me that the Army does not want to deal with this potential headache in the field. And the person in question, if he signed up after the election (as intimated in an earlier post), is doing this as nothing more than a conspiracy-driven publicity stunt. I personally think that the Army has every right to give this man a dishonorable discharge. Or maybe a court martial and send him to lockup for a while.

When I became a citizen of the USA I swore an oath, not to the president or even the presidential office, but to the CONSTITUTION of the United States of America and it seem that everyone is forgetting about that silly piece of paper. To all of those that think this is just a Republican thing, I ask that you hypothetically consider the fact; IF he was not US born, should we not investigate and fight to uphold the CONSTITUTION? IF he was US born it would be so easy to prove and make all of this go away, THAN why are they not doing just that?

Another thought; if you were going to court-martial someone why rescinded the orders? That makes no sense at all. I’m confused, so is the military conceding that the orders are no good, because otherwise they can’t court-martial him since he has not disobeyed any orders.

The orders were recinded because as the reservest who requested this deployment he had the right to not go. Why would he refuse an order to deploy that he requested in the first place. He should be court martialed and given a dishonorable discharge for conduct unbecoming of an officier, endangering the live of US soldiers currently deployed in hostile territory and using his position in the military to further the "birthers" political agenda.
