The drywall is flawed, the corrosion problems can not be linked to mold. The article did not expand on the damages to wiring and appliances, but it did mention them, so I'm somewhat puzzled at your comment. These homes have not had water problems, there has not been reports of water damage in these homes.
The coverage has been more extensive here in the States, particularly in Florida, so I do have information not covered in detail by the submission, but the article is factual. I don't believe the submission was intended to be an all inclusive expose, but calls attention to a very real problem.
