The video wouldn't play for me.

I'm certainly no fan of Barbara Boxer. Not my cup of tea.
I wonder though ... do y'all think Republicans ever voice racism?

love how he is there representing the black chamber of commerce then says pelosi is bringing race into the conversation.
Reply
and he said that solely because pelosi brought up another black organization that disagreed with what his black organization said, which they did. and that doesn't means she's being condescending. not in the least.
fact is, he's the one who wanted to ignore what the NAACP said, not pelosi.-

She was being condensing as is the case with most Dems. She was trying to silence him by implying 'Well your black brothers over here like it, you should too because of that fact'.
Reply
Did she apologize? Nahh it's okay to talk that way to a black man that's not toeing the line of the 'agenda'. -

She was trying to be polite and point out some items to him and he was being a total disrespectful a$$hole. There was NOTHING racist about what Boxer said or did.

This is just another right wing planted story about nothing!

It's clear she's speaking in a very condescending way. It's clear she's simply bundling things together because their all from minority groups. Clearly it wasn't on whether they agreed with each other or not. The Chairman was right, Robert's Rules clearly would support his actions in wanting to decline their entrance into the records. They didn't testify, they didn't attend, they didn't agree. Be her comments and actions, it was clear she thought she was playing to the African Americans by acting like she cared. It was a publicity act and little more. A token gesture.

She asked him to testify and show what his group wants. Then lumps them all together. Apparently he doesn't realize he's supposed to sit down, shut up and follow what the masters of the DNC tell him to do and say. The DNC treatment of minorities hasn't changed all that much in the last 144 years. They DNC didn't support the 14th Amendment. It didn't support school desegregation of the 1950's and called out their State troops to stop them from entering the schools. It took Ike and the US Army to open the way. Today hasn't changed. The Chairman didn't agree with their claims but it's clear his groups opinion doesn't matter and would have been buried without his comments. The only reason some minorities support the DNC today are the welfare and other handouts they're given. It's still scraps off the table, it's not an equal seat. It's time for our minority friends to realize the Party of Lincoln, Eisenhower and Reagan is still here and still welcoming to all who want freedom, justice and equality. Where race, color and creed are not how we judge a person but by his words, works and actions.

According to the National Black Chamber of Commerce website their mission statement reads: "The National Black Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African American Communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity in the US and via interaction with the Black Diaspora.
Reply
The Black Chamber is promoting African Americans through capitalism and the NAACP and Million Black Men do it through social policy. What is the difference? They all have the same agenda? It seems to me they are connected groups.-

Actually, she was trying to brag about how politically correct she could be. He saw through the smoke screen. There were two that didn't agree with his group. Even though they didn't appear or testify, their letters were going to be given equal treatment. I understand his anger. I also understand her words. She's never had a real job. She came to CA and forced her way into politics. She attacked him with her comments concerning where he lives today and what he's doing. Acting surprised a black man could own a business or property in one state and live in another. Is she simply that naive or did she do it to embarrass him. Was it because his organization doesn't agree with her on the "great" solution the wind farms and solar farms offer? Being a business person, he understands higher energy costs will kill business. A politician living on her daddy's coat tails wouldn't. Too bad CA fails to understand you can't continue to spend money like drunken Kennedy's forever.

He threw the first punch by over reactng, being loud agressive and disrespectful of the political process. Not very professional behaviors for a leader of a professional business group. He also threatened that things might explode. Come on, acting like a thug is something for the srteets not a government proceeding. If she's a beach he's a beach bum.

Energy is a raw material used to improve our lives ... not a "job creation" tool. Of course some people will be involved in building and installing wind turbines, solar panels, etc. but this will not be the huge job creation industry that is going to save the USA economy nor will it create highly paid skilled jobs.

That is what the man is trying to say and she wants to make it seem like every black person agrees with what they are trying to do.
We used to be a country of mustangs running free with few fences in our way; we are now becoming a feedlot full of docile and overfed cattle, too dumb to know what lies ahead. -
