Posted By Natally 5 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsRussian customs officers in Siberia have detained a Polish citizen as he attempted to smuggle a dinosaur egg and other contraband from Mongolia into Russia, UPI News said Tuesday.
In addition to the huge egg, officers found a mammoth's tusk and rock crystal in boxes in the unidentified man's car.
The man told customs officials he did not declare the items because he had no idea what was in the boxes, which he said a friend had asked him to carry to Poland.
Russian prosecutors are investigating, the report said.
