(Read Part I here also)
In Part I of the series , I shared the results of informal surveys of volunteers over the last few years of what people think is the root cause of homelessness. It's important to address this issue. Much has already been written and studied on how to help the homeless, but I strongly believe we have still missed the mark. To define this is critical in alleviating homelessness. We still need your input and comments here too - Tweet it, Digg it, Prop it - become part of this grassroots movement that will improve lives for millions of homeless families...

We would first have to admit that money and greed is the problem.
Go back to when man live freely off the land.way way back!
When man was nomadic and didn't stay in one place.
He moved with the live game.
Then the agacultural age came man settled down in one place and started claiming land for his own and becoming territorial.
Thus the first of many wars for land and rescources, control and power.
We lost our Freedom to pirates and looters making themselve rulers over us, taxing us for the land we live on and the fruits of our labor.
Instead of cursing them we glorifie them in history books.
Sure great civilizations rose up.
At the cost for destroying the lives of others and enslaving them.
taking away their freedom.
Go back to when man only had to worrie about providing food and a roof over his and his family's.
Back when life was simpler.
Think about it.
There wasn't poverty amonst people who knew how to provide for themselves and had free access to land, live game, vegitation and other recources to survive.
It wasn't until other started controling it.
We've made our lives alot more harder ,more complicated, more exspensive then iy needs to be..Why?
Technology that is suppose to make life easier.
Has be come a financual burden,a monthly bill.
Our dependency on others to provide for our needs has become costley for us and profitable for them.
Our whole lives revolves around the dependency of having money to get things done.
We fight and war amongst each other for personal gain and power.
Instead of people just working together ,helping each other to build a better world we all could live in.
Which would be more productive and less destructive. -

The root cause of Homelessness, is this corperate controled society we live in.

All these things that were listed may be part of the problem, but it isn't the root cause.
The main cause is this corperations control everthing in this society and has become to demanding ,to controling ,and made to exspensive to live in.The stress of it leads to most of the things you've listed.
We have turned into a police state.
With corperations asking we give up our privacy and our rights to be able to work in this country.
A country many of our family members have fought and scarificed to give us Freedom to live in.
Is now in the control of the Corperations and Poliliticians.
The real kicker is ;We helped get them were they are.
