If you are lucky there will be a switch that says 'ka-boom' and 'no ka-boom'.

Toggle this carefully to 'no ka-boom'.
Otherwise look for a red wire and a black wire.
Cut the black wire. For God's sake do not cut the red wire .

I may have that backwards though.
