A jury on Friday convicted a man of manslaughter as a hate crime for killing a transgender woman he shot outside a house party last year.

You've got that right orndo. All too often people, consumed by hatred, also become victims of their own hatred. Not only was a trans woman's life cut short in her prime but the man who shot her has ruined his own life. He's a 20 year old who has to spend a minimum of 10 years in prison.
